Thanks, Nancy! I’ve heard a few too many stories about how hard it is to quit advertising with various yellow page companies…and that their billing cycles are hard to break. You’re not the only one. Perhaps that’s another point business owners should consider when looking to advertise?

Thanks Amy for your great advice. It’s amazing how quickly the business world is changing. A year ago I advertised with Yellowpages.com. Nobody ever told me that they had found me there. After my year was up, I was frustrated by how difficult it was to cancel. Once they get you, they do everything they can to make the cancelation process complicated. Finally, I just had to call my bank and stop automatic payments. I will NEVER advertise with them again.
