Creative ideas often come to me on a bike ride to the farmers market or a hike on Chukanut Mountain. I haven’t always lived in the Pacific Northwest, but I’ll take the mountains of Washington over the harsh winters of Wisconsin and Minnesota any day.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a BFA in graphic design, I ventured out to the big city of Seattle. I worked for a creative services firm with clients such as Microsoft, Starbucks, Boeing, and Xbox. When the chaos of a big city drove me North, I found my roots in Bellingham. After various sales and marketing roles for corporate industries (and the birth of my son, Arlo), I opened my own firm, Fidalgo Designs.
With over 10 years experience in marketing, sales support and customer service, I understand what companies and organizations need. I have extensive experience marketing for one of Inc Magazine’s 50 Greenest Companies and firmly believe in taking care of our Earth. I was instrumental in helping Sustainable Connections develop their Toward Zero Waste Campaign, which aims to reduce garbage created by local businesses.
